into december
We finally had a few wisps of snowfall in Brooklyn over the weekend, a taste of winter to welcome December. The cold weather, the bright light, and patchy white layer of snow (which here in Brooklyn quickly turns into gray slush) makes me imagine that things must be really different in colder places faraway. Listening to NPR’s segments on Iceland made me remember Sigur Ros’ beautiful documentary, Heima.
Speaking of Iceland, here’s a short video on my digital camera from when we watched an extravagant concert by Mum a while ago.

Hi Judy, I’ve been poking around on your blog a bit after recently discovering your beautiful journals. You’ve inspired me to try to make some of my own perfect-bound notebooks (I watched your tutorial). Keep up the great work!
Hi Judy - it was so nice to meet you at the Modern Mart. The journal is more beautiful than I realized. My husband loves the print - he was especially touched by the words on the back “Which forest …”
Of course I remember your blog - I’d read several entries before (usually about your journals), but now I am going through lots of previous entries. Without gushing, it’s great and I am a fan.
All the best!
